The development of the MasterModel is the result of a collaboration between Damien Girardin and Ralf Groesel, the founder of Brainchild. Crossmixed Canopy:A dual-material canopy layout: ultra-rigid Hardflyte material is used in the center section for maximum lift and angle of attack, while softer Teijin T9933 fabric is positioned at the wingtips to ensure fast, smooth turns.

12-Point Fixed Bridle System:A pulley-less bridle layout fine-tuned to deliver an extremely direct, precise, and predictable bar feel, along with a massive depower range—free from mechanically wearing parts.

Bar Feel:

The light bar pressure—signature to Reedin—caught the Arctic Kites test team's attention right from the first meters. At first, there was even a moment of doubt whether the kite had enough power because everything felt so light. However, where its 3-strut sibling, the HyperModel, started to feel completely overpowered and yankey in the exact same conditions, the MasterModel kept the ride perfectly under control.

Gust Handling & Control (Hydrofoil Test +40kt):

We had the chance to test the kite in sizes 6m & 7m in Tarifa's brutal 40+ knot storm winds on a hydrofoil. The 40+ knots gusts felt incredibly manageable on the board: at no point did the kite force the rider downwind. Instead, it ate up the gusts effortlessly and accelerated cleanly further to the edge of the wind window than the HyperModel. This makes it an exceptionally trustworthy partner for extreme storm conditions. At home we ride mostly the 9M and it delivers great hangtime, easy take-offs and fast loops.

Performance & Speed:

Even though the kite feels light while riding, sheet in to load up for a jump and its true performance comes alive. The instant vertical boost broke our team's personal height records right on a quick first test, even while we were still getting used to the kite's handling. It is extremely stable, smooth, and impressively fast-moving. The kite's stability and reliability throughout the session left a lasting impression on us.
