Chris Sunderland
Chris has an unquenchable thirst for adventure and travel. His wanderlust has driven him to travel to and experience several of the world’s wilderness areas.
Long distance treks, high altitude climbing, skiing and more recently sailing are passions that have enabled Chris to access these wilderness areas and gain a perspective on the world, civilisation and the power of nature.
Chris’ wilderness adventure travel exploits include:
- trekking to Mount Everest in the Nepal Himalaya;
- canoeing in Canada;
- summiting Aconcagua (6962m) in the Argentinian Andes;
- mountaineering in the European Alps;
- travelling in the Egyptian desert;
- climbing Mount St. Helens, an active volcano;
- trekking in Iceland, the West Coast Trail on Vancouver Island, the GR20 in Corsica and from Glasgow to Cape Wrath (the most NW point) in Scotland.
